Con: No Summer Vacation After spending 9-10 months in school mode, your brain could probably use a break, and if you devote your summer to studying for the SAT, you wonââ¬â¢t give yourself that time to rest. Not having a summer break is especially a problem if youââ¬â¢re feeling really burned out at the end of the school year and need the summer to recover before heading back into school-mode. It became not that hard for them to get rid of Jesus since Jesus was claiming that he was the Messiah. They accused Jesus of being disrespectful and committing blasphemy until they were able to put Him on a stood. Jesus' death became very frustrating in the part of Jesus disciples and his followers. But beyond their knowledge, this was God's original plan. Jesus was raised from the dead after three days. He showed himself to his disciples and left very important instructions. It became a proof that what Jesus was teaching and claiming as being God himself is true. Further, the resurrection of Jesus became the ultimate distinction from other doctrines which were funded by various leaders who call themselves savior or messiah. Aside from Jesus, there were no other people who claim the same as what Jesus does. After their death, they were no more. They left no history and no future as well. Through time, the success of Christianity became established. The re-bonding of the disciples after Jesus' resurrection, their faithfulness, commitment and love to the mission that Jesus left were the utmost reason of the religion's success. For Which of the Boys Essay The boy that I felt the most sympathy for in The History Boys would have to be Posner. The portrayal of his character compared to that of the other boys is entirely different. Throughout the play, Posner is shown to be an outsider; too young to understand most things, and even to be included in Hectors inappropriate behaviour. It is evident from the start that Posner has feelings towards Dakin, however Dakins behaviour towards Posner is far from romantic, hence we can sense that he doesnt return the romantic feelings that Posner so desperately desires. This immediately creates sympathy for him, as it shows that he has no hope of happiness with the person whom he clearly loves. As the play progresses and develops, we can see that Posner is confused about his sexuality and is tormented by the idea that hell never fit in anywhere. He confesses his feelings and worries to Irwin who sympathises, however this does nothing to comfort Posner. As the other boys begin to change their attitudes towards life and learning, Posner seems to remain the same and spend more time with Hector. This could be viewed as very odd behaviour, as the other boys seem keen to avoid any time alone with Hector due to his ephebophilia. This, again, highlights the fact that Posner is extremely lonely and confused, therefore is willing to seek comfort with even the most inappropriate of people. When the disastrous event of the motorcycle accident happens at the end of the play, we are given an insight into just how much it affected the boys in years to come. While it seems that the others have moved on in life, Posner is described to have periodic breakdowns and to have been the only one that truly took everything to heart. This proves that Posner was really affected by those particular years of his life, despite the fact that he was never directly targeted by Hector. Overall, Posner is presented as a confused, lonely character which generates large amounts of sympathy from the audience.

Information Assurance (IA) can be referred to as the process that involves in the management of perils that are closely related to the usage, processing, storage and electronic transfers of information. This field has been birthed by information security, a field in computer security. Information Assurance is aimed at availability, authentication, non-repudiation, integrity and confidentiality of information and information systems thus serving as a defense and protection turf for electronic information. The process of Information Assurance commences with the act of specifying and classifying the assets of the information to be protected. This process of information specification and classification is done objectively taking into contemplation the nature, source and the purpose of the information in focus. In addition the can disable the firewall module packet filtering by transforming the image such that the agentââ¬â¢s in-memory store code starts working inappropriately (Larry, 2009). This may render the agent disabled from accessing the system. Once automated information attacker gains this unauthorized opportunity to access to the clientsââ¬â¢ information he has the freedom to perform dynamic data modifications. Most teenagers are careless and dont think about consequences because theyre reckless, forgetful, and inexperienced. Teens make choices in the heat of the moment without thinking about the outcome. During a persons adolescent years, the brain is still growing and maturing which makes a teenager curious and confused. Theyre still learning about the world through experiencing things that theyve never done before and learning to manage their emotions. Teenagers want to fit it and impress their peers, which is why peer pressure is another leading cause of teens making bad decisions. The most common and obvious decisions that teenagers poorly make are drinking and using drugs, cheating in school, and teen pregnancy. Teens tend to want to try new things and take risks, so they make turn towards drugs or drinking alcohol, something theyve never tried before. Theyre still trying to navigate the bridge between childhood and adulthood, and one of the most challenging decisions is whether to start using alcohol or drugs. Adolescence is a time of self-exploration and many teens decide to abuse alcohol and drugs because of peer pressure or curiosity; without thinking about the consequences such as health risks and illegal. Peer pressure is one of the most influential forces for teenagers. When theyre still trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in, the desire to be accepted and liked making saying no almost impossible. Teenagers also want to appear grown up and cool around other peers. Curiosity is a very seductive temptress. Teenagers have the desire to try new things and explore the world, regardless of the consequences. Most teens have more autonomy and want to experiment. Teenagers fai l to realize that alcohol and drug use can really damage their body and if caught, can lead to detention and a criminal record. Cheating is not just a problem for teens, but also for adults. Teenagers turn to cheating for several reasons such as lack of time, peer pressure, and high expectations without thinking about the punishments if they got caught. If a student is caught cheating, it can lead to serious punishments such as detention or even expulsion. Teens are seen juggling numerous things to do per day such as schoolwork, sports, and more. Even if a teenager gets stressed and doesnt have enough time to study the night prior to a test the next day, there is no reason for them to cheat. As mentioned previously, peer pressure is a serious factor. Teenagers might see their other peers cheating and think that its okay to do. These days, colleges are harder to get into and scholarships are getting more competitive to earn. Some students feel the need to cheat on tests or make their student resume sound much more impressive than reality. Students feel the need to excel in every subject and also add lots of ex tracurricular activities to build a perfect resume, which can lead to cheating. Teen pregnancy is an issue that occurs throughout the world. Many adolescents feel pressured by their peers around them to engage in sexual activities. However, they fail to realize that pregnancy is a huge factor, especially at such a young age. Teenagers want to fit in with their friends and other classmates and many times, teens let their friends influence their decisions even when they dont fully understand the consequences associated with the act. Teenagers see sex as a way to appear cool, grown up, and sophisticated, when it some cases, the end result is an unplanned teen pregnancy. Most teens arent ready, but proceed anyways because they fear being ridiculed or rejected. In conclusion, peer pressure and curiosity are the two most influential forces in a teenagers life. A teens brain is wired to want to experience new things and fit in with others. Teenagers are on the verge of adulthood and are curious about the world. This leads them to making bad decisions without thinking about the consequences that follow

A Brief History of the Age of Exploration The era known as the Age of Exploration, sometimes called the Age of Discovery, officially began in the early 15th century and lasted through the 17th century. The period is characterized as a time when Europeans began exploring the world by sea in search of new trading routes,à wealth, and knowledge. The impact of the Age of Exploration would permanently alter the world and transform geography into the modern science it is today. Impact of the Age of Exploration Explorers learned more about areas such as Africa and the Americas and brought that knowledge back to Europe.Massive wealth accrued to European colonizers due to trade in goods, spices, and precious metals.Methods of navigation and mapping improved, switching from traditional portolan charts to the worlds first nautical maps.New food, plants, and animals were exchanged between the colonies and Europe.Indigenous people were decimated by Europeans, from a combined impact of disease, overwork, and massacres.The work force needed to support the massive plantations in the New World, led to a 300 year slave trade that had an enormous impact on Africa.The impact persists to this day, with many of the worlds former colonies still considered the developing world, while colonizers are the First World countries, holding a majority of the worlds wealth and annual income. The Birth of the Age of Exploration Many nations were looking for goods such as silver and gold, but one of the biggest reasons for exploration was the desire to find a new route for the spice and silk trades. The first of the journeys associated with the Age of Discovery were conducted by the Portuguese. Although the Portuguese, Spanish, Italians, and others had been plying the Mediterranean for generations, most sailors kept well within sight of land or traveled known routes between ports.à Prince Henry the Navigatorà changed that, encouraging explorers to sail beyond the mapped routes and discover new trade routes to West Africa. Portuguese explorers discovered the Madeira Islands in 1419 and the Azores in 1427. Over the coming decades, they would push farther south along the African coast, reaching the coast of present-day Senegal by the 1440s and the Cape of Good Hope by 1490. Less than a decade later, in 1498, Vasco da Gama would follow this route all the way to India. Christopher Columbus, an Italian working for the Spanish monarchy, made his first journey in 1492. Instead of reaching India, Columbus found the island of San Salvador in what is known today as the Bahamas. He also explored the island of Hispaniola, home of modern-day Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Columbus would lead three more voyages to the Caribbean, exploring parts of Cuba and the Central American coast. The Portuguese also reached the New World when explorer Pedro Alvares Cabral explored Brazil, setting off a conflict between Spain and Portugal over the newly claimed lands. As a result, theà Treaty of Tordesillasà officially divided the world in half in 1494. Columbus journeys opened the door for the Spanish conquest of the Americas. During the next century, men such as Hernan Cortes and Francisco Pizarro would decimate the Aztecs of Mexico, the Incas of Peru, and other indigenous peoples of the Americas. By the end of the Age of Exploration, Spain would rule from the Southwestern United States to the southernmost reaches of Chile and Argentina. Opening the Americas Great Britain and France also began seeking new trade routes and lands across the ocean. In 1497, John Cabot, an Italian explorer working for the English, reached what is believed to be the coast of Newfoundland. A number of French and English explorers followed, including Giovanni da Verrazano, who discovered the entrance to the Hudson River in 1524, and Henry Hudson, who mapped the island of Manhattan first in 1609. England established the first permanent colony in North America at Jamestown, Va., in 1607. Samuel du Champlain founded Quebec City in 1608, and Holland established a trading outpost in present-day New York City in 1624. Other important voyages of exploration during this era included Ferdinand Magellans attempted circumnavigation of the globe, the search for a trade route to Asia through the Northwest Passage, and Captain James Cooks voyages that allowed him to map various areas and travel as far as Alaska. The End of the Era The Age of Exploration ended in the early 17th century after technological advancements and increased knowledge of the world allowed Europeans to travel easily across the globe by sea. The creation of permanent settlements and colonies created a network of communication and trade, therefore ending the need to search for new routes. It is important to note that exploration did not cease entirely at this time. Eastern Australia was not officially claimed for Britain by Capt. James Cook until 1770, while much of the Arctic and Antarctic were not explored until the 19th century. Much of Africa also was unexplored by Westerners until the early 20th centuries. Contributions to Science The Age of Exploration had a significant impact on geography. By traveling to different regions around the globe, explorers were able to learn more about areas such as Africa and the Americas and bring that knowledge back to Europe. Methods of navigation and mapping improved as a result of the travels of people such as Prince Henry the Navigator. Prior to his expeditions, navigators had used traditional portolan charts, which were based on coastlines and ports of call, keeping sailors close to shore. The Spanish and Portuguese explorers who journeyed into the unknown created the worlds first nautical maps, delineating not just the geography of the lands they found but also the seaward routes and ocean currents that led them there. As technology advanced and known territory expanded, maps and mapmaking became more and more sophisticated. These explorations also introduced a whole new world of flora and fauna to Europeans. Corn, now a staple of much of the worlds diet, was unknown to Westerners until the time of the Spanish conquest, as were sweet potatoes and peanuts. Likewise, Europeans had never seen turkeys, llamas, or squirrels before setting foot in the Americas. The Age of Exploration served as a stepping stone for geographic knowledge. It allowed more people to see and study various areas around the world, which increased geographic study, giving us the basis for much of the knowledge we have today. Long-Term Impact The effects of colonization still persist as well, with many of the worlds former colonies still considered the developing world and the colonizers the First World countries, holding a majority of the worlds wealth and receiving a majority of its annual income.
